“Our decision to move to Trillium Woods was made after we visited fourteen similar facilities in the western and southwestern suburbs. Here at Trillium Woods, we found numerous amenities included in our monthly fee, a large variety of spacious apartments and floor plans, incredible staff who all have a “can do” attitude and a vast array of activities. Most of all, we have been overwhelmed by our neighbors – active, interesting and interested people who come from all over the United States. We know this is the right place for us.”

“When we found Trillium Woods, we found perfection. We were impressed with the striking new facility, with its idyllic setting, spacious grounds, wonderful views, and numerous floor plans. Trillium Woods offers us care-free, luxurious independent living, an active lifestyle, services galore, and continuing care if needed — all under one roof. And that’s just the beginning. We enjoy gourmet dining, exceptional educational and entertainment programming, and countless activities, all under the supervision of an amazing professional staff. Finally, we have the camaraderie of a resident population that is surely unsurpassed in terms of career accomplishments and service to the community. We could not be happier with our decision to move to Trillium Woods — a sentiment that we reprise virtually every day!”

“Why Trillium Woods? After 26 years of military life, two additional careers and 18 household moves, we decided that we needed somewhere to settle down. We wanted to make our final move to somewhere near our only daughter and son-in-law. Most importantly, we did not want to be a burden to anyone. Trillium Woods filled all our needs. We were assured that we would be provided independent living, assisted living, nursing care, and final care all within the facilities located at Trillium Woods and continue to enjoy private accommodations. As our need for more care increases, we will not have to pay any additional fee for our accommodations.
Even if one of us needs nursing care and the other is still comfortable in independent living, the cost of living space remains the same. An additional benefit is that 80% of our initial investment in Trillium Woods will be refunded to our children when we are no longer with them. We are still very active. We enjoy being somewhere that has a country feeling without really being too far from the luxuries of a city. There are 5 shopping centers within ten minutes of Trillium. For example, the Arbor Lakes Shopping complex is 7 minutes away and has over 220 businesses to include nearly 40 places to dine. Add to that the fact that the heart of Minneapolis is only about 20 minutes away. There you will find 55 museums, Orchestra Hall, The Guthrie Theater, along with a dozen other live theaters and 5 professional sports teams to be enjoyed right next door to Trillium. The University of Minnesota is in the heart of the city as well, with all the benefits a large university brings to the area. With all of this, you have to ask yourself what other location could provide you so much to do. We examined over 80 places in and around the Twin Cities. Only one had everything we wanted and needed. A heated garage, a chef of local renown, free transportation to scheduled events, doctors appointments, shopping centers and the house of worship of your choice, and a heated indoor pool to boot, all add up to the type of place “happy ever after” dreams are made of.”

“Trillium Woods – A Life Care Service community that does more than what they advertise. I bought 18 months before it opened and everything they said about the community was far better. They have so much to offer. A great staff. Activities that can keep you busy most of the day. Trips, lectures, theaters, concerts, operas, movies and more. And they have Happy Hour every Friday night to top off your busy week. Trillium Woods is a great value.”

“Trillium Woods. A perfect solution to a prevalent perplexing predicament an aging population is forced to examine. Where are we going when we can no longer live alone? Whether the question is posed by a spouse, a child, a potential caregiver or one’s self, it is a prickly subject to face, but face it we must as we approach the small end of our lives. And when is a decision to be made?
Children move away for careers, partners can become widowed, divorced, illness can strike at any time. Life expires without notice. My husband and I took the burden of that daunting problem from our loved one’s hands, hearts and pocketbooks and they are grateful. We came to Trillium Woods BEFORE we had to. WE chose our beautiful surroundings, our keepsakes, our healthcare, our lifestyle – our future. THEY happily choose to visit… knowing that WE are safe, secure and surrounded by a dedicated staff and delightfully stimulating residents and activities. WE are enjoying our carefree days.”

“With each passing year, we had become more and more aware of our need to plan our golden years. Memories pointed out parental challenges with homes and care and medical needs, and our mission was to make those times easier for us and for our only son and his family. We continued in the workplace but had a sharp ear for any solutions to our needs for comfort and care in the days ahead.
Wow!! A place called Trillium Woods was being developed just miles from our home. Sweet!! We went to meetings to learn about the facility and to meet others also looking for the same solution. The community of potential residents was helpful and supportive and we were so very comfortable. Ahhhhh…Perfect! We found our ideal spot in the new facility and stepped into retirement mode with confidence and great joy during our move last summer and every day since then. One year later. We’re here and delighted and celebrate each new day with the best people possible!!”
